about humble co.

when I started humble co., I had no idea what I was doing. all I knew was that I wanted to create a line of basics that allowed for all women to feel sexy without trying too hard, and publish content that was wildly relatable to anyone and everyone. relationships are everything to me--understanding others is the source of my happiness. growing up, I was never the girl who could wear tube tops and halter dresses without feeling self conscious about it. and still to this day, as I see how many people (including myself) have such a hard time finding simple clothes we feel confident in, I knew that I had the empathy and aesthetic to create a brand that truly embraced the concept of personal style: the idea that style not only instills self confidence, but also makes us all individuals. we designed humble co. with different body types in mind, leading with fit and quality, all for the minimalist while channeling a bit of 90’s inspiration - a few key pieces that can be worn for all occasions. humble co. is like your best friend; we tell it like it is and believe that life is about getting into trouble and making mistakes. though through it all, you learn how to stay grounded and trust yourself.

we simply, stay grounded in style.

humble means...

namita, my name from south asian descent means 'humble' in hindi--it's what i live by: to never get too high on the highs, and to live each day with respect and open-mindedness for those around you; because you never know what others are going through, truly.

our fabrics & factory

all of our sustainably sourced garments are made from either a tencel blend or are 100% cotton/terry to allow for impeccable fit and comfort. our fabrics were grown in India and knitted, sewn, and organically dyed here in Los Angeles.

it was critical for us to work with a factory that understands our values and was locally based in LA. our factory’s number one priority is their commitment to making change happen for fair labor and manufacturing practices. they specialize in helping small brands come to life, and they’re incredibly meticulous when it comes to ethically sewing, cutting, and dying fabrics. we couldn’t be more proud to have them on this journey with us.

giving back

our hands icon evokes the relationship between giving and getting: the vibes you give out set the tone for what comes back to you.

at this moment, the world has come to a collective understanding of the ripple effect that giving can trigger in communities. with that in mind, we share a percentage of our sales with an Indian mental health fund called The Live Laugh Love Foundation. TLLF aims to raise awareness for mental illness in India, where mental health care is still deeply stigmatized. this partnership is a small way for us to put our values into practice.
